Great road trip! Ohio has a lot of covered bridges. Our family is from Oberlin, OH which was one of the major stops of the Underground Railroad. Two of the houses my Uncle owned had secret hiding places for enslaved people making their trip to Canada. One was "Bardwell House" that is from 1846 and had been moved from its original location.
