I live in Frankfort
It's past time for a grass roots effort to develop to move the KY state capital out of Frankfort, ideally to Lexington. Frankfort has never been, nor ever will be a proper state capital. It's a podunk town, and ALWAYS will be. Tearing down the 28 story Capital Plaza, and Convention Center shows the mind numbing stupidity inherent in that non place. It's obscene what replaced that landmark building, a 5 story building. KY refused to maintain it. It's taller twin ( Standard Oil ) in Chicago still stands, because who does something like that? Only in KY! Even Charleston, WV looks better than Frankfort.
