My parents took us on a vacation to Boothbay Harbor in 1982…..we moved to Maine in 1983!
Can't forget the amount of disc golf courses in Central Maine now, there's a new course within an hour every year. A great, affordable, healthy activity to take the entire family to do and enjoy the maine woods.
it's not pronounced Mount Desert, it's pronounced Mount Dessert regardless of the spelling
i'd suggest taking a trip to lewistion and view the syringes lying about, nip bottles littering the streets , you might want to take the kids down to the androscoggin and catch some fish but, dont eat them – the toxins limit fish eaten per year to one.
