Day trips or weekend getaways from Seattle, Washington include Leavenworth, Deception Pass State Park, North Cascades National Park ( Diablo Lake, Washington Pass ), Mount Rainier National Park, Olympic National Park and Columbia River Gorge close to Portland, Oregon. Pacific Northwest is one of our favorite areas in the U.S as it is home to many National parks and State parks.
